Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sports Stats Gather, LLC (“SSG,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use the Service, why, who processes it for us, and the choices you have. It works together with our Terms of Use.
1. What we collect
- Your account. The Service is invite-only, so using it needs an account. We collect the email address and the first and last name you sign up with.
- Sign-in and session data. Sign-in, one-time codes, invitation links and sessions are handled by our authentication provider, Clerk, which processes this information on our behalf. This includes records such as when you signed in and the session that keeps you signed in.
- Access requests. If you request access through our waitlist, we keep the email address you give us so we can review the request and invite you.
- Technical and usage information. Like most websites, our hosting providers (Vercel and Render) record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our own privacy-friendly site analytics count page views and which features are used (for example, which tabs are opened), along with coarse details such as country, browser, device type and screen size. Before anything is recorded, they drop query strings and replace the address of an individual game with a generic one.
2. Why we use it
- To provide access to the Service, including reviewing access requests and sending invitations.
- To keep accounts secure, for example by verifying sign-ins and detecting misuse.
- To operate, maintain and improve the Service.
- To meet our legal obligations.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
4. Cookies
We use cookies that are essential to sign you in and keep you signed in. These are set by Clerk on our behalf, and the Service does not work without them. Our site analytics may also use similar technologies to count visits. They honour your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers who run the Service for us, and only so they can do that work:
- Clerk: accounts, sign-in and sessions.
- Vercel: hosting the website.
- Render: hosting the service that delivers the data on the site.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of SSG, our users or others.
6. How long we keep it, and your choices
We keep your account information while your account is active. If your account is deleted, we delete your account information, except for records we must keep for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons. Hosting logs are kept only as long as our providers retain them. Access requests that are not approved may be deleted at any time.
To ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to have your account and its information deleted, email us at privacy@statsgather.bet from the address you signed up with. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder before we act on it.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, or under the minimum legal age for gambling-related activities where you live, as our Terms of Use describe. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us at privacy@statsgather.bet and we will delete it.
8. Security and breach notice
We implement reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will comply with all applicable notification requirements under the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA) and other applicable laws.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we may also tell you through a notice on the Service.
